Who we are

Permit Test Easy is an independent study site run by VODEV LLC (ТОВ «ВОДЕВ»), a limited liability company under Ukrainian law, 20 Esplanadna Street, Kyiv 01001, Ukraine (EDRPOU company code 46291583, registered on 24 August 2026), which sells access to it. "We" in these terms means VODEV LLC. We are not a government agency, a driving school or an exam authority, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

What the site is

Permit Test Easy offers practice questions, lessons, mock exams and a readiness estimate for the California DMV knowledge test (Class C). It is practice material, not driver education, not an approved course, and it does not issue certificates.

Every question is written by us. The questions are not the real test and are not copied from it. Each one cites the official document it is based on, and that document is always the final word: check it before your exam.

No promise of a result

The readiness estimate is a guide based on your own answers. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam. Rules and test content change; the exam authority decides. The refund under "Our guarantee" below is the one exception, and it is a refund, not a promise of a result.

Your account

You can use the free part without an email. When you give an email address you can sign in with a code we send you, and use the site on other devices. Keep access to your mailbox to yourself, and give us a real address.

Paid access

Full access is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription: 30 days ($19.99), access for 30 days from the day you buy; Until you pass ($29.99), access until you pass your exam, for at most 12 months from the day you buy. Prices are shown before you buy. The seller is VODEV LLC.

Payments are not switched on yet: when you press the unlock button, we record that you are interested and nothing is charged. When payments open, the terms of the sale, including refunds, will be shown at checkout and in this page.

Our guarantee

If we said you were ready and you fail the California knowledge test, we refund the full price. Write to hello@permittesteasy.com within 30 days of the test, with a photo of your DMV result. One refund per person.

"Ready" is the verdict shown on your Progress page once you have taken the mock exams it needs. Ready means your last two mock exams passed with room to spare and no topic is weak.

While payments are off, nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund yet.

Fair use

Do not copy, resell or republish our questions and lessons, and do not use automated tools to collect them. Do not try to break or overload the site.

Our content and mistakes

We work to keep the content correct and up to date, and we fix what you report with the Report a mistake button. We still cannot promise it is free of errors.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on it, including a failed exam or fees paid to an exam authority, apart from the refund under "Our guarantee". Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; if you keep using the site after a change, you accept it.
